This is also happening this summer.
I was on Spotify, trolling for new music, this morning. Some good things today! Sigur Ros (Which is Sigur Ros-y) and Scissor Sisters (I Like Better than I thought I might) The Walkmen (Haven’t Listened Yet, but it’s the Walkmen!)
Anyway, there was this single for a cover of Venus in Furs by this band called the Virgins featured in the Recommended section for me this morning. I’m not sure if I know who they are, or whatever, I didn’t listen to the song, but…
Holy Totally Unexpected not safe for work album art displayed gigantically right smack in the middle of my computer screen. Damn.
That isn’t to say my delicate sensibilities are offended, but I just want to listen to some music! I mean, okay, the Handsome Furs also had a naked lady on the cover of their last album, but it wasn’t a close-up on her vagina. :\ You can google it if you want, but I think that description pretty much says it all.
It has since disappeared from my recs, but I just had to share that startling early morning experience with y’all. You may continue with your day now! XD
I think the only thing the Glee finale made me feel aside from disappointment was a renewed need to listen to the New Radicals all the live long day.
Been Marathoning episodes of Ugly Betty. Just got to this episode. (One of my faves. <3 Marc)
